Terms & Conditions
Last Updated: September 8, 2026
Welcome to Expression Body Art. These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our website, purchases of products, booking of appointments or events, and use of services offered by Expression Body Art (“Expression Body Art,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
By accessing our website, placing an order, booking an appointment or event, or purchasing or receiving services from Expression Body Art, you agree to these Terms and any additional policies applicable to your purchase or service.
Products & Services
Expression Body Art may offer products and services including, but not limited to:
- Permanent jewelry
- Charms, connectors, and jewelry accessories
- Traditional jewelry and retail merchandise
- Special-order and preorder jewelry
- Tattoo services
- Appointments
- Private events and parties
- Other body art, jewelry, and related services
Products, services, pricing, and availability may change without notice.
We reserve the right to discontinue products or services or limit quantities when reasonably necessary.
Permanent Jewelry
Permanent jewelry is individually measured, fitted, and cut for each client. Because the chain is altered specifically for the wearer, all permanent jewelry sales are final and non-refundable once the chain has been cut.
Permanent jewelry is intended to remain clasp-free but is not indestructible. Chains may break, stretch, snag, become damaged, or require removal due to normal wear, accidents, external force, medical procedures, workplace requirements, or other circumstances.
A broken chain does not automatically indicate a product defect.
Repair and rewelding services are governed by our Refund & Service Policy.
Clients are responsible for retaining their jewelry if it breaks or is intentionally removed. Lost chains, charms, connectors, or other components are not covered by complimentary repair services.
Permanent Jewelry Pricing
Permanent jewelry chains may be priced by length.
The final price of a permanent jewelry piece may therefore depend on the chain selected and the actual amount of material required to properly fit the client.
Charms, connectors, gemstones, and other additions may be priced separately.
Prices displayed online may represent per-inch pricing, deposits, individual components, or other applicable pricing as identified on the product page.
Special Orders & Preorders
Certain chains, charms, jewelry, or other merchandise may be offered as special-order or preorder items.
A deposit may be required to secure a special-order permanent jewelry item. The deposit is applied toward the customer’s final permanent jewelry purchase.
For chains priced by length, the remaining balance will be calculated based on the actual length used and is due at the time of service.
Special-order deposits become non-refundable once the order has been placed with our supplier.
Estimated arrival times are provided as a convenience and are not guaranteed. Supplier, carrier, manufacturing, weather, or other delays may occur outside of our control.
Unless otherwise stated, special-order items generally have an expected arrival timeframe of approximately 3–10 business days.
Tattoos
Tattoo services are permanent in nature. Once a tattoo service has been performed, payments for that service are non-refundable.
Tattoo services may require additional consent forms, identification, age verification, health and safety disclosures, and other documentation before service is provided.
Expression Body Art reserves the right to decline or discontinue a tattoo service when reasonably necessary for safety, legal, professional, or other legitimate business reasons.
Clients are responsible for following all aftercare instructions provided following a tattoo service.
Additional tattoo-specific policies may apply and will be provided where appropriate.
Appointments
Certain Expression Body Art services require an appointment.
Clients are responsible for providing accurate contact information and arriving at the agreed-upon date and time.
Appointment deposits, cancellations, rescheduling, late arrivals, and no-shows may be governed by our separate Appointment & Cancellation Policy.
Expression Body Art may reschedule or cancel appointments when reasonably necessary. If we must cancel an appointment, we will make reasonable efforts to contact the affected client and arrange an alternative.
Events & Parties
Private events, parties, pop-ups, or other group services may be subject to separate booking requirements, minimum charges, deposits, travel charges, attendance requirements, cancellation terms, or other conditions disclosed when the event is booked.
Event availability is not guaranteed until the applicable booking requirements have been satisfied.
Online Orders
By placing an order through our website, you represent that the information you provide is accurate and that you are authorized to use the selected payment method.
Submission of an order does not necessarily guarantee acceptance.
We reserve the right to cancel or refuse an order when reasonably necessary, including in cases involving:
- Pricing or listing errors
- Suspected fraud or unauthorized payment activity
- Product availability issues
- Technical errors
- Incorrect inventory information
- Violation of these Terms
If we cancel a fully paid order before providing the product or service, any amount eligible for return will be handled using the original payment method when reasonably possible.
Pricing & Errors
We make reasonable efforts to ensure that product descriptions, images, prices, and other information displayed on our website are accurate.
However, typographical, technical, pricing, inventory, or other errors may occasionally occur.
Expression Body Art reserves the right to correct errors and cancel or modify affected orders when necessary.
If an error materially changes an order that has already been paid, we will contact the customer when appropriate before proceeding.
Product Images & Natural Variations
Product photographs and digital images are intended to provide a reasonable representation of our merchandise.
Actual appearance may vary due to lighting, photography, screen settings, manufacturing variations, and the characteristics of natural materials.
Gemstones and other natural materials may vary in color, pattern, clarity, shape, inclusions, and other characteristics. These natural variations are part of the individual character of the material and are not necessarily considered defects.
Jewelry Care
Clients are responsible for reasonably caring for their jewelry.
Exposure to chemicals, excessive force, snagging, stretching, improper cleaning, physical activity, environmental conditions, or other factors may affect jewelry over time.
Expression Body Art is not responsible for damage caused by misuse, improper care, accidents, loss, or circumstances outside of our reasonable control.
Returns, Refunds & Repairs
Returns, refunds, permanent jewelry repairs, and retail merchandise returns are governed by our separate Refund & Service Policy.
Where there is a conflict between these Terms and a more specific policy relating to a particular transaction or service, the more specific policy will generally govern that issue.
Website Accounts
If our website allows customer accounts, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login information and for activity conducted through your account.
You agree to provide accurate information and promptly update information that becomes inaccurate.
We reserve the right to suspend or restrict accounts being used fraudulently, unlawfully, or in violation of these Terms.

Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Expression Body Art will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from the use of our website, products, or services.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to waive or limit rights or responsibilities that cannot legally be waived or limited.
Personal Responsibility
Clients are responsible for informing us of relevant circumstances that may affect their ability to safely receive a requested service.
Clients are also responsible for determining whether permanent jewelry or other services are appropriate under applicable workplace, school, athletic, medical, or other requirements.
Permanent jewelry may need to be removed for certain medical procedures or other circumstances. Expression Body Art cannot guarantee that a permanent jewelry piece will be permitted in every environment.
Refusal of Service
Expression Body Art reserves the right to refuse or discontinue service when reasonably necessary for safety, suspected fraud, abusive or threatening behavior, failure to meet service requirements, violation of these Terms, or other legitimate business reasons, subject to applicable law.
Privacy
Personal information collected through our website and business operations is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms periodically as our products, services, website, or business practices change.
Updated Terms will be posted on this website with a revised “Last Updated” date. Continued use of the website or services after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms to the extent permitted by law.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the state in which Expression Body Art operates, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Nothing in these Terms limits any consumer rights provided by applicable law.
